Why can't view who votes on a post?

The feature is basically useless as of now and serves little purpose except for a few threads on the rant. If this feature continues to be used on the site, why can't it be used to boost posters ratings or at least allow only the Individual to view the members that like/dislike a post? I feel like there is a lot of potential with this feature and it isn't being properly utilized.

This isn't reddit. And who gives a shite about "poster ratings".

Get up and get our of your mom's basement every once in a while.

true

I don't see any point in having voting if it doesn't affect post placement (as on Reddit), which is definitely something I don't want to see here

b/c various cliques would start backchannel campaigns to UV their own posts and DV others, making the whole process as worthless as it is now

this is one change I'd like to see

Upvoting and down voting needs to stay anonymous. There's a reason why it's anonymous on reddit. Making the identity of the voter known is only going to make it a distracting topic of discussion and make more threads go off topic. It would ruin a lot of threads on this site.

Upvoting and downvoting is only a barometer for quality of the post and simply an easy agree/disagree button. Just take it at that and move on.

You have a much firmer grasp of how Reddit works than myself. I do appreciate your feedback considering you are unable to give a shite, yet here you are. Also, thanks again for contributing to my poster ranking.

I think a cool thing to do is have a link where you could see all-time most up/downvoted posts and what threads/posts/posters they are.

It'd be cool to see what the most ever down/upvoted posts of all time are.
