Rummy, why not just do it? Y'all just hanging around and on occasion deleted a post and anchored daily threads.

It can be done. But you have to be one of the cool kids.

Everyone knows that.

Well, for starters, someone has to tell Kalunda (not his real name) to do it.

Kalunda has, for lack of a better word, been a bit of a bitch lately with everything going on in the Middle East. Even though he's Indian, he has strong opinions about the region and this conflict really has him in a bad headspace.

Secondly, someone is going to have to update the Username Spreadsheet Tracker. On the surface this might not seem like a challenge but, in actuality, it's a real pain in the arse.

Lastly, and maybe most importantly, when you, Wolfhound99, or anyone else that is on here first signed-up - you were warned to choose your name carefully. If we were to grant name change wishes to everyone all willy-nilly then, to quote the great Dr. Peter Venkman, we would have: “Human sacrifice! Dogs and cats living together! Mass hysteria!”.

So, there you have it...and complete and profound explanation of why it is, while not impossible, exceedingly challenging to have a successful outcome on a name change request thread.

Wolfie, if it helps...when we talk about you in person at our weekly Admin Meetings...we refer to you as Randall Stephens.

Can you tell Kalunda I said hi, well wishes and whatnot?

Tell him I’ll Venmo him some cash money for a hot tea. Maybe that’ll help him relax.

thanks for being the messenger.

I'd have pm'd him directly through my premium membership or the admin board, but I didn't want to abuse my privileges.

eta: being the SECOT admin is a special kind of hell though.
