I never really planned that to happen. I was trying to be nice by not saying I didn't want to be with the xbox guys as it is 50% trolls. SO I made up a bullshite reason. But of course continue to be an arse.

Looks like The Division is living up to it's name. To the matter at hand, I don't mind separate threads. If it turns out like Destiny there was a core group that played together for a long time and it made sense.
Game info and talking about last nights play session are two very different things and can be a problem in itself when the two are mixed.

But the Arkansas fan was upset nobody was in the xbox thread I guess.

the confusion of having to go to different threads for info on the division. it's nice having all the info in one thread. also there are plenty of playstation pricks as well.
I guess those pricks all disappeared for the fallout 4 thread or the dragon age inquisition thread? those threads combined info for all platforms without an issue, there's no reason the division thread can't do the same.
but the real reason you want the ps4 thread to remain is so you can IM with your ps4 frans like you did in the destiny thread. speaking of, since the xbone destiny thread pretty much died, I had to rely on the ps4 thread for destiny info. but it was confusing because I never knew when I saw the ps4 destiny thread bumped, if it would be actual game discussion or IM chat. hope to prevent that problem with one division thread.

It's a big game that was released on all platforms (Wii doesn't count). I would say allow three threads max (PC, PS4, and XB1). The minor complaints about the amount of threads is to be expected. It's cyclical. Every big release we deal with this.
For right now I would un-anchor this thread. and delete this thread to help with clean up.
I don't see an exclusive PC thread right now. There is one XB1 thread and an attempted catch-all. That's three. Let us idiots settle down and everything should be fine in a day or two. I request that those two links have action taken on them, but other than that...it's all good.

Three different platforms all talking about random stuff just adds pages to the thread. Info can get lost in all of that. Not saying it's going to happen, but it's possible. There's no need for a thread to go 100 pages just to save 10% of board space.

it's not about saving board space. it's about keeping all info and discussion related to the division in one thread. various other games on the gaming board have been able to do it, there's no reason the division can't do the same.

You just listed two single player games. This is totally different. You actually group with the players in division. So you actually can talk about what you guys did together.
There is no link between ps4 and xbox.
