When I press back, it goes to the previous page of the same thread.

I get redirected to this except it lists Chrome, it doesn't open another tab it just goes directly to this.

Just recently happened to me again. I'm on an ipad. I can be posting, scrolling, it just reading, and all of a sudden, safari will swipe away, and I will be redirected to the App Store, which will highlight a particular app.
