This. It's MUCH cleaner, and it also establishes a consistent design motif with the SEC Rant.
I made a post last year that touched on this a bit. I'm glad the aesthetic improvements are starting to occur, and hopefully this design motif will roll out to the other boards fairly soon.

what a terrible design. i'm thinking that you could probably just go ahead and make the banners up top all white too, Chicken. Maybe change all the font to white, with the thinnest light gray outline you can find.

Who gives a shite?? The sec rant looks cheap and formulaic. One of the great things about TD is its unique design and look and feel. Not that it looks like every other cheap plain shite forum on the internet
