Is there a policy on religious related threads?

On the OT, I started a thread, that was religious in nature. My intentions were nothing more than to have a discussion about the book of Genesis, which was motivated by me recently re-reading it.
The questions I asked were reasonable questions, but if it was against board policy I apologize.

They usually get anchored or whacked, but I don't see the problem with them as long as you aren't throwing your religion at people. If it's just a healthy debate about your choice of religion and you want to have a civil discussion then it should be fine. Then again I don't make the rules here and the admins hate me so do the exact opposite of what I do.

Religious threads are not allowed. Period. If we see them we whack them. If one is on one of the boards it's because an admin hasn't seen it yet.
