The site owner lives in Houston. So just go to Houston and drive around a bit and you may catch him while he's out getting his paper in the morning.

Come on Fred...just kill this one "salty1", and sign off on the pending approval for "saltyone".

saltyone is a much older profile, so it appears as if I'm not as much of noob. Also, I use saltyone on a couple other sites, so I thought it may be more recognizable to someone here on TD.

I mostly post and read on BBI, but as much as I love BBI, it's gotten a little slow over there. I recognize a few usernames here from TF and BBI, so I was hoping to use the same username myself.

If it really is a big deal, then don't worry about it.

I'll probably be banned for debating a mod. I was a mod for a long time on another popular forum. I never said "good day sir" as an answer to an honest question. If there was a reason, I'd tell them. I'm a Tiger fan. I assume you're a Tiger fan. The small number of posts I've made under this username have been positive. I was looking for a new forum to contribute on since my home forum is all but dead. If I had not updated the email address associated with my username, I wouldn't have been locked out and forced to use this one. We could have discussed this by email if someone would have had the common decency to respond to my message. Instead, we're discussing something as simple as activating a username after an email update in an open thread. Why? So you guys can be dicks and get a laugh?

Whatever. I guess I'm done asking. At least I now know how the site is moderated.
