Back buttoon has to be pressed multiple times before it actually works

Not sure it this is related to the "beta" or not, but in most cases I have to press "back" multiple times, sometimes in excess of ten, to go back one page.
It is also as though the page is constantly loading, or refreshing without updating posts, while on it. When I "hold" on the button, there are numerous entries of the current page I'm on, equal to the number I would have to hit back for if I wanted to return to a previous page.
I am talking about the "back" button in a browser, using Firefox.
Perhaps this is related to the new ads in addition to the beta?

You can press the reload current button or F5 and then press back.

It is the new ad format. Just about every page I'm on now never stops loading.

The giant banner at the top of every page. Before the Beta desktop version, I don't remember ever seeing changing or video ads.

that ad is on non beta as well. we are looking into the video ad to have it removed. thanks

Good to hear. 
Just know that there are several. I started a thread last week with no admin response that listed 3 or 4 specific video ads.

I'm glad someone brought this up, at first it was mildly annoying but now it's getting ridiculous. I'm on firefox too.

The refresh button is constantly flickering from X to refresh. It never stops loading.
