Anyone have a good and relatively inexpensive source for lab work? I get my basic stuff done including T by my GP every year but it’s not very thorough and it’s only annually.

Looking for someplace I can submit through LabCorp or something similar locally that’ll do a full work up on T, Free T, estridol, etc.

Any suggestions would be appreciated. TIA.

I’d be interested in doing that as well if it’s not too pricey. I’ve heard a couple of ads during podcasts but I can’t remember names.

I've not used this company yet, but I'd like to try them out Marek Health .

A little background:
I'd heard about it from a guy named Derek when he was a guest on the Joe Rogan Experience podcast. He runs a website/podcast called "More Plates, More Dates", and he was talking about how if you get your testosterone checked out by a diagnostic lab how your results may not be that accurate due to the testing method used, and he recommended using a different testing method for higher accuracy, and then he suggested this company, Marek, as a means of getting these more accurate tests ordered. But he left out mentioning that Marek is his company, or he's heavily affiliated/compensated with them. (I just checked, and he's nowhere to be found on their website, but he still links out to Marek Health from his website). This was a few years ago. Things may have changed. I'm sure there are other companies to go through to do this, but Marek is one I've heard of and would like to try out due to the fact that they
1) go through LabCorp exclusively,
2) the comprehensive panel they offer at $450 sounds very thorough and high quality, and
3) everything is cash out of pocket, no insurance required nor does it sound like they would take your insurance if you offered it as a means of payment.

It looks like Quest has a basic test for around $160.

i do my independent labs occasionally with any lab test now. their TRT continued therapy panel is 230.00.

Testosterone (Free/Total)
Complete Blood Count (CBC)
Comprehensive Metabolic Panel (CMP)
Estradiol
Prostate Specific Antigen (PSA)
SHBG Sex Hormone Binding Globulin (SHBG)

not sure if its the cheapest around but its typically in and out and results in few days.

Apply for life insurance somewhere. They'll make you get one. And you get the results. And you pay nothing.

Or find a crooked veterinarian who does their panels in-house.

I use privatemdlabs

Get bloodwork done every 3-4 months. Will send you to either Quest or Labcorp to get drawn.

Usually get everything done, CBC, CMP, Lipids, Hormones for like $150-$200. Just select the right tests

Nice. I’m not worried about the lipids or regular MD stuff. I have plenty of people looking at that.

I've used them. Not sure how to prove if they're more or less accurate than anyone else. I tried them out after going to my PCP and asking to get my free test tested and she told me no because I wasn't showing any symptoms. Complete bullshite that you should have to jump through hoops to get fricking bloodwork
