I'm hungry af rn but I'm powering through. I think I'll be okay until 10.

This is tough.

Just start pounding water....do anything you can to not pay attention to the clock...that’s the best advice I have when starting out

I just finished my second cup of coffee. I'll pound some water. Thanks.

It is. I couldn’t do it and opted just to stay around 1800-2200 calories per day with 5 meals throughout the day. Works so far.

Just another day or two and it’ll be exponentially easier. I don’t even think about breaking my fast now until 1-2.

I'm in my fast. Just got done working out. Can I have a post workout drink? Or do I have to wait

Well I came down with the MF’ing flu this weekend, so I’ll have to start this when I get better. However, I’m getting some good practice as I’ve been to weak/sore to make anything for long periods of time.

Yeah it’s brutal. Fortunately I was still within the window that tamiflu would help, so I started that tonight.

Well that sucks, but if you're anything like me, you'll lose a few pounds purely from the flu. I was so weak when I had the flu that not only could I not get up and make food, I didn't have the energy to eat food that I didn't even prepare.

Yeah, I can tell that I’ve dropped a few already. Not exactly how I wanted to do it.

Less than 30 calories is usually what I try to adhere to during my fast. So it’s typically water, black coffee, green tea, or apple cider vinegar (I really don’t like ACV). Some take BCAAs too. I’ve seen conflicting reports on those though and what they trigger in your body despite caloric intake. Hopefully someone smarter than me can help.

I didn't have one last night. I'm starving. I'm not going to lie, this sucks.

Sab, what time do you typically work out? Are you listing fasted?

I used to work out in the morning, but I'm moving it to the evenings around 7 pm.

“Lifting fasted” as in are you working out during your fasting window.

If you’re weight training, I would recommend doing that during your “feeding” window. That way you will have your Pre and Post nutrition.

Fasted cardio can be a good fat burner though.
