My daughter just got diagnosed this morning. No fevers yet and only one small blister in her mouth.

Who all has dealt with it?

All of my knowledge is shot when she gets sick with something.

Keep your daughter away from people. It'll go away on its own. If they're a daycare baby she likely got it from there and other kids will get it. It's highly contagious but not dangerous.

You can mix a tablespoon of Maalox with a teaspoon of Children’s Benadryl and try to let her swish a little in her mouth if the blister is causing pain.

Don't think you can't catch it. It knocked me on my arse and I lost all the skin on the bottoms of my hands and feet

I remember mine getting it and it not being as bad as all the horror stories. It’s all really a big blur though.

When I had little ones in daycare, my oldest brought that sh!t home... I got it.

It was brutal... like razor blades in the back of my throat. I wanted to get rid of the kid after that... disgusting.

She seems to be doing ok. The rash looks like has stopped spreading hopefully. Got rapidly worse yesterday morning but hasn’t spread since about lunch time.

I wish she would just give it to me so she wouldn’t be hurting anymore. I hate seeing her in pain. Last night was miserable.

You don't want it. Worst sore throat I've ever had.

they say adults can't get it but that is a load of shite.

We have had just about everything from the flu to covid to RSV since putting a kid in Day care.

Head, foot and mouth was the sickest i got.

Both of my kids had it

For one, it was the single worst experience of our/his life. The other, all he got was a mild fever and the mouth bumps. Severity depends from kid to kid as I understand it

For as quickly as the worse intensified, it got better just as quick. She still has some small scabs, but never even ran a fever.

I oddly enough caught it my summer after my senior year of high school. Best we could figure someone brought their sick kid into the store I worked at and gave it to me some way or another. I felt really bad for a day or two. Worst of it was a sore throat and my hands/feet feeling weird as heck. After that I just enjoyed the time off I had to take before rejoining society as not to spread it.

I had it three months ago. As an adult. Was NOT fun. Total isolation, COVID style.

Sore throat from hell. Numbing prescription spray helped tremendously with that but not until I got it after two days of suffering.

What I thought was a splinter in my heel turned into a painful rash on hands and feet. Hurt like hell to walk as the bottom of my feet had sores. Using hands was painful too for same reason.

It’s going around the daycares here too.

My little one had it last week. Had low fever one night but other than that she didn’t seem impacted. Had the bumps on feet and hands.

You go to Disney Land?

My neighbor's daughter caught it there last weekend.

No she got her's from Daycare. We aren't a Disney family and I have no plans to go there anytime soon I know I will have to bite the bullet and take her there at some point, but no time soon
