Get it on the ground as soon as possible and let it roll out vs. flying it further

Off dormant, tight and/or wet Bermuda, stand the club up until the heel is off the ground, then chip as you normally would.

Couple things.

Saw Scott McCarron doing a chipping special on golf channel where he showed how he takes PW-7 at times, stands the club up and stands closer to take off loft, and thinks putting stroke to get the ball rolling on line. I went from being an idiot always trying to spin wedges around the green with shite results to trying to make everything and lowering my proximity on greenside chips tremendously.

Then saw the lefty guy from TXG get a wedge lesson(he was HORRIBLE from 40-80 yards). The instructor did a great job of explaining the speed you need to get spin from those distances. This changed my game as well. I went from not understanding how to hit wedges at all, constantly decelerating, and being happy if I caught green from 70 yards to being pretty damn good with them.

Unlocking those shots got me scoring low enough to decide to take golf more seriously. It’s been a fun journey ever since.
