What should my next club be?

I've got M2 Driver and Irons, 4-PW. I have a shite arse putter that someone gave to me. I'm trying to decide if I want to upgrade my putter, add some wedges or get some woods. I started playing about 8 months ago and my game has gotten better. I can't stand hitting out of a bunker mainly because I can't do it.

Short game. Short game. Short game. Get good at about 150 yards and under. Practice. Then putt. A lot. Make 10 5 footers in a row. Then go 10 6 footers. Keep at it. I would buy a putter you try out and like then practice with it.

But based on your description, it sounds like a sand wedge or putter is up next. I would get a putter. It's all about confidence with a putter and it's the fastest way to lower your score.

My putter is some old janky Wilson. My buddy had it in his bag and didn't need it so he gave it to me. I have knocked down some great putts with it and I feel comfortable with it. I'd like to upgrade it but I think my best bet would be wedges first. Since, anything under 100 yards I use my PW, that includes bunkers.

Yeah get some wedges. My same advice applies. You want to look down and have a confident feel looking at your wedges. Most high end wedges perform the same, so it's all about feel.
