I have been using apps on my phone but I don't trust it. I am roughly a 10 handicap. Bushnell seems to be most popular but there are different levels.

I've got a Garmin that works like a charm. Can't play without it anymore.

Go to your local academy and see if they have any old stock. Saw a Bushnell Tour Z6 marked down to $220 at my local one the other day.

Other than that, hard to go wrong with any of the name brands: Bushnell, Leupold, Nikon, Callaway.

If you're on a budget, Breaking 80 has one for $150-$200 that is prwttt well received. Also the Precision Pro Nexus gets good reviews for $150.

If money is not an object then I suggest the Tour X. I have one and love it. If you don't want to break the bank, the Z6 is still well worth it.

I just got a TecTecTec V Pro 500 for $150. Very satisfied. Used to have a Bushnell until it got wet ($350). I like my new one as good or better.

I have the bushnell tour v3 with slope and I love it. I don't play in tournaments so it's perfect for me. It picks up the flag with the zolt feature very well
