It’s over already, but Riv is a sweet tournament to go to. Definitely recommend if you’ve never been.

Unpopular opinion, but I rank golf tournaments as one of the worst forms of live sporting events to attend.

I've been to a several, including a major. Being at the course and seeing players up close is cool- but you see such a small fraction of the action it isn't worth it for me.

Just about every other sporting event happens right in front of your seat. Golf is spread out over a hundred acres and its just hard to keep up with the action.

I've always wanted to go to this weekend's tournament and just post up on the Bear Trap. It may just be me, but it's such an awesome setup to create some late drama down to the last few holes of the tournament.

Easy answer. Valhalla for me. Bourbon and major championship golf sounds like it would be fun.

I don’t think that an unpopular opinion at all. Players are all over the course and there are multiple shots on really large holes, half of which you prob can’t see. You can either 1) follow groups around or 2) park on one hole and watch groups come through. Either way you’re missing the majority of the action on the course.

Fed Ex St Jude Championship, TPC Southwind is a tough track and it is a designated event.
