I have played Cleveland wedges for years, but thinking of making a switch. Looking at the Mack Daddy vs Vokey. I have hit both at the store, and both felt pretty good, however there is only so much you can learn about a wedge in a store. Anyone have any opinions?

You can't really go wrong with either. Both feel good but offer different things as far as grind/bounce and swing weight. Chipping and wedge play is so much about feel that I have to try things out for a while before I commit. Perfect for the Edwin Watts return policy. 90 days to try then you can return full charge.

I personally hate the Calloways, but that doesn't mean they aren't good. They are quality construction, but I didnt like the way they felt. If you like em go for it, but for me personally vokeys

Ell loves callaway and I love vokey,

Point is you need to hit some demos to see what feels good to you

I can't speak to the Callaway wedges, but I recently got 48, 54 and 60 Vokey wedges and they are now my favorite clubs in the bag for scoring. You can't go wrong with these wedges.

I don't care for vokeys because the head feels extremely heavy, so I play Callaway MD3. It's all feel in your choice.

I've played both and I agree that the vokeys feel heavier than the MD3's. They both perform really well and it comes down to what feels better to you

I like vokey wedges but you have to hot melt them!

I play Cleveland wedges, but I hit a vokey 56 the other day and that thing was butter. Had me thinking about getting some.

I play Vokeys but the Callaway feel good as well, just not a fan of the address position, but I've been looking at a Vokey since he started making wedges for Titleist.

I went from Cleveland to Vokey a couple years ago. Also tried out Nike and TM wedges. Nothing compares to the Cleveland Tour Action 588's. Just bought 2 sets and took the Vokeys out of the bag.

I didn't like the MD3 wedges, but the Callaway Mack Daddy Forged wedges are legit. Switched out my SM6s for those.

I can agree that when I switched from Cleveland to Vokey a few years ago, that was the main difference I found. I grew to like the weight though, and still have a set in my bag.

I prefer the way the vokeys set up to the ball than the Callaway MD wedges. It's just preference and feel. I'm not quite sure one is truly better than the other.
