Looking at planning a trip for the summer. Anyone play any of the three? Usually play 3 rounds on a trip.

You and family or you and buddies?

Family - San Antonio and stay at the Marriott property - then take a day for the water park. I enjoy San Antonio in the evening. The kiddos and momma won’t get board with all the tourist stuff.

Buddies - Hilton Head

Hilton head. Rent a house. You got the beach. Go down to Savannah or up to Charleston for a day.

Me and some buddies did a golf trip the last couple years to both SA and Hilton Head.

My vote would be SA only because I enjoyed the courses more. Played both LaCantera Courses as well as the TPC ones. The JW Marriot there at the TPC courses is top notch.

Hilton Head was really nice as well. The played the Harbour Town courses I think. Overall just like the SA golf better. Hilton Head seemed to be more short, tight, dog leg type courses.

Can’t go wrong with either tho.

Streamsong is literally in the middle of nowhere. Don't take your family there.

Ive played/stayed at both TPC SA and Streamsong. Both awesome golf venues. If you have family (non-golfers) don't bring them to Streamsong. Absolutely nothing out there except golf and the parks ( Disney, Universal, etc) are a good hour away. TPC SA hotel has a great pool complex with lazy river etc that is a good diversion.

I'll throw in another that you might look at - Horseshoe Bay complex just outside of Austin. Three great golf courses and it sits on Lake LBJ which has a lot of stuff to do.

Streamsong is a sweet setup I recommend, bigly

TPC San Antonio is boring and probably the 4th or 5th best course in the city. The resort is A1.

Hilton Head is nice but if you play harbor town once you will want to play it every round.

Absolutely

If you like hitting driver, Hilton Head isn’t the place for you. I’ve played 8-9 rounds on multiple courses and each I hit driver maybe 3-4 times a round. It’s target golf with doglegs on every hole.

Hilton Head and Bluffton have some great courses. I live in the area. The Hilton Head courses can be tight, but beautiful. There are some Bluffton courses that you don't have to worry about getting dust on your driver. My home course is Parris Island. Best course in the northern part of Beaufort county.

In the heat of the summer, I’d go with Hilton Head.

May or late-sept, SA or Streamsong. If it’s strictly golf and you’re up for playing two rounds a day (or 18, then a 6 hole loop), then I’d go Streamsong. If you want resorts and pools and bars, go with SA.
