There are guys on that team with higher finishes in pga events. It's a tough team to make and he was close. As I said earlier, a better performance last week and he is on that team.

LSU people are mad Burns is gone, no worries we have a deep class coming down the pipeline golf wise. The USGA wasn't sliding a kid in who was just wanting to play before turning pro the day after, the Walker Cup isn't golf's version of Kentucky basketball.

Walker Cup is going to lose some kids next time out by turning pro. It's the oerfect time to turn pro too.

Burns not being selected is a joke and purely a political move by usga. You don't leave off the best player in college golf, period.
