Judge is freakin hard. Don't know your Hcp, but I suggest maybe playing up a tee box

The Tips make it a novelty course. But man it’s a great tract.

I’m playing purcell right now. Currently waiting on a group of hackers.

Awesome course and fairly open off the tee. Plays anywhere from 7444 to 6457 so pick your tee wisely

When playing the judge, play up a tee box. It's a lot more fun if you do.

Play the white tees. The course is long and has water on like 14 holes

We have a 16 man trip there in September, staying in the Oster houses. 1 round on each course

Pursell is a great course, I recommend playing a tee up from normal. I think we played whitetail which is around 6400ish. I’m a 7 hcp and was worst player in my group, we had a good time from there, the copperhead tees add about 500 yards.

Climb up to the tips of the par 3 it’s #5 I think, and hit a shot from there if it’s not backed up.

Big elevation change from tee to green.

When did Pursell start opening on Mondays?

That has to be new.

I played the Judge when it was wet and in the 30s outside. I was the only dumb person on the entire course. It kicked my butt most holes, but it was a lot of fun. As people have said, play up a tee box.

We just played the Judge a little over a week ago. Very tough course and I hope the greens have filled in since then. They were bumpy and lots of Poa.

You'll have a great time. Each course is very different. All are difficult but fun. They are all in good shape. Sometimes a little poa around the greens. If you are playing in the spring or summer then the deep rough on the senator course is extremely punishing.

If you are eating out one night, do yourself a favor and eat at La Jolla. It's 20 miles from Capitol Hill in Montgomery, but it's worth the drive.

Played Farm Links with 2 scratch golfers. On #5 they went all the way to the top. Hit 5 & 6 irons. Made pars.
Then they hit drivers from beside the green back up to the tee box, but came up way short!

We are doing the same in August. Have you ever stayed at these houses before? It’s our first time but looks like a perfect setup
