I recently ordered a set of Callaway Apex from Callaway Pre-Owned. The condition of the clubs were said to be "Like New". When I received the clubs, the 8 iron had a nick in the back of the head. My first question is does this affect the club's performance and my second question is should I return the club?

They're forged clubs, get used to it because it's only going to get worse.

I’ve purchased quite a few clubs from them and their eqyhas always been in good shape - I wouldn’t worry about the nick

That’s gonna ruin the aerodynamics of your back swing

If you don't fill in that nick with molten lead, file it down and repair it, your whole body dynamics will shift and your entire game will wither away.

You should return them or demand iron covers
