Opinion on taylormade Spider putter

I like mine but I swing the putter straight back and straight forward (or atleast attempt to). I had always used a blade and had trouble keeping it square, I find the spider helps that. I'm sure there are better options sub $300 though. Although the DJ model I have looks

Like mammas boy, I have a back & through motion. I have always preferred a mallet, face balanced putter. Used a Zebra for ever, went to a Ping Craz-e when they first came out. Haven't found anything I like better since.

I love it. Mine is face balanced which works with my straight back and through stroke (not much of an arc). I've got a flatso 2.0 grip. It sets up very square and gives you a lot of confidence

Sell it to me.

The spider will be my next putter. Tried one out at dicks and love the feel of it.

Yeah, we know. Thanks for the cliche. The problem is putting is the most mental aspect of the game. When you lose faith in it, you have to change something up.

I love it. It's my gamer. Best putter out there IMO.

I like the Ping Karsten Anser 2i and the Ping Karsten Pal 2i.

The Pal has weight heel and toe, is heavier, good for slow greens, both have an insert.

Gamed the OG spider back in 2008 then went the itsy bitsy route in 2009. "Best" mallet putter out there IMO.


Just wanted something a little smaller and went center shafted.
