NBC is pitiful on coverage!

Their broadcast of WM is players putting or Scheffler, Speith, or Thomas and the broad cast on 16. They are horrible!

Way too much 16. It’s hardly a golf tournament anymore.

They’re trying to compete with LIV with the “hey, we’re cool too… look at our party hole”

Golf broadcasts are always too much putting. We can all do that. I want to see the 180 yard approach shots. Or the 3 woods. The stuff I suck at.

Which one of these do you think came first?

It’s such an inferior/try hard TV production when compared to LIV

Agree it’s awful. These split screen commercials are terrible too

and now they cut away from it in houston to cover a shooting at joel olsteins church.

Whoever thought Kisner is better than Byrum or Faxson is either deluded or high

No, mudblood. I’m well aware of the WM 16th hole. My comment was regarding the pitiful coverage this year. The party hole was featured more

I didn't mind it. I also think Kisner is good and will only get better.

Is he done playing? If so, why?

Maybe, but there's no doubt he's better than Zinger.

I just want golf to be golf. I dont care if it's "cool" or "trendy", I just want to watch the best play. All the PGA had to do was change a few rules and offer bigger purses and they would have had no problems.

16th at WM has been around way before LIV. Just like 17 at Sawgrass, the shots there are just a little more interesting.

I found there to be much more coverage of 16 than in years past. They have always focused on 16, but not every day all the time like this year. At least that is how I found it (when I was actually watching).

I think some of it was the NBC vs. CBS difference. CBS had Colt and Amanda the last few years on 17, but this was the first time NBC had it. I actually felt like Smilie and Kiz did a good job, but I would agree that too much time was spent there. Not sure if the delays messed them up, but I would have loved more shots for the people in contention.
I think they were terrified they were going to miss an ace live.
