Ordered a set on a whim last week. Played yesterday without hitting a shot with them. They are strong lofted, but whatever. I don’t care what the number on the bottom says. Hit them pretty well, definitely a club longer than my i210s, but way sexier.

I hit the 7-PW the same numbers maybe 1/4 club long, not enough to change my wedge gaps and setups. They really shine in the 4-6, hit them way higher and at least a club to club and a half longer in the 4 and 5 which is a bonus for me. The look is unreal for as forgiving as they are, turf interaction is great, they nailed these.

They are making me question my obsession with Srixon

Yeah, the shorter irons are closer to my normal distances, but still a bit longer. It won't take long to adjust. Happy I got the gap wedge though, since I would have had a gap in my wedge setup.

The long irons are definitely great. Hit a couple of 5 irons that were high penetrating bombs. Yeah, I get that it's a 4 iron, but still super easy to hit.

I looked them up, they are hollow body construction .

Really nice looking irons.

I hate that they only offer Recoils are their graphite shaft option.

Right now, I really like the MMT graphite shafts, they are easy on my wrists.

Enjoy you new clubs fellas.

I just purchased new Callaway X Forged CB’s last year. But these 223’s have me really thinking about going back to Mizuno. Coming from 2 previous sets of Mizuno, nothing feels like a Mizuno iron. I love my Callaway CB’s but those 223’s are beautiful in person

I hit the new Ping 525 irons today, they felt awful in that AWT shaft.

The Mizunos have me thinking...

A 223/225 combo set would be awesome.

I’ve never seen you hit any club, any differently than the last set you bought.

Does mizuno make a putter. Asking for a friend.

Got fitted into a set of these last week. 1st club the fitter handed me at 265. Nuked about 5-7irons 10-15 yards further than my 919s. Guy said, "Fitting Complete!"

I hope you considered shot shape profile and dispersion amongst many other factors besides distance
