Au contraire mon frère

Confirmed on GolfWrx, Reed was hitting the PXG 0811X Proto

Don't get the PXG hate, but to each his own.

My Gen 4 irons with MMT shafts are solid. I checked every club for swing-weight and length accuracy since it was custom and every club was on the money.

So was the 5 wood, Hybrid and Sugar Daddy wedges.

More than I can say for some manufacturers these day.

Love my irons, not a fan of the woods, they ran out of Sugar Daddy wedges quick in black but have new ones coming out with the huge weight in the back. I hit some Gen 4 irons and the driver but sticking with my Gen 3, Gen 5’s already coming in June/July I have shafts I can’t replicate easily built to my specs in my Gen 3’s and didn’t see a huge difference in the Gen 4 except I could get the black finish again like I had in Gen 2’s. I’ll hit what I have for awhile in the iron department, only other irons I’d play are Srixon.

I bought a PXG 0811 X+ Driver a couple of weeks ago, really like it, long and forgiving. Just bought some Sub 70 699 Pro irons, coming in tomorrow.

Curious to your thoughts, the PXG Proto heads felt better than the Gen 4 heads

Their clubs are middle of the pack at best, and their commercials are so cringe, try hard.

Other guy, let’s us know how you like those Sub70s

Have to disagree with this statement, I have hit most of the new clubs around.

But I agree on the commercials lol.

I do appreciate his first responders discounts. More companies need to honor those who serve.

Never tried the Gen 4, but the Proto X+ really looks and sits well and is very solid.

Guy steals the dude from Ping and then tacks on 2k the same club concepts.

I dont have an issue with them, but they are definitely not the best clubs on the market as Parsons would have you believe.

Prices on PXG have dropped big time.

Gen 3 irons are now 133.00 per club with MMT Shafts.

New Ping I59 irons are 1800.00

New Callys will be 2000.00
