Touring Willow Fork tomorrow and Falcon Point on Friday. Anybody here members or played them before and have any feedback? Falcon Point is a good bit more expensive and Willow Fork is closer to my home and office. 40yo, single, no kids, play 2 timer per week usually on wknds. Mainly looking for golf events and groups to play with and a nice restaurant and bar to have dinner/drinks at regularly. Any info appreciated.

Willow Fork >>>> Falcon point especially course wise. I played both a few times last year and WF was better imo. Not a fan of the layout at FP

Lots of LA baws are members at WF

I’m a member at FP. Shoot me an email, hehateme2285@gmail.com.

We have a great MGA, great Saturday/Sunday morning games, and a great locker room environment.

Anyone that says the course layout of Willow Fork is better has lost their mind. FP is a harder course with water on 17/18 holes, so that drives some people away. But it’ll improve your game very quickly.

I would stay away from Willow Fork until their sale goes through.

Falcon Point has some silly holes but always been in good shape when I've played. It's Club Corp which depending on who you ask if either a good thing or a terrible thing.

Where in Katy do you live?

Great group of members at Falcon Point. As a multiple time guest, the course is challenging and is in great shape throughout the year.

See you at The Gauntlet.

Played falcon point a few weeks ago, doesn’t seem like a track you’d want to play as your main course, lot of forced layup holes.

Seems like a good group there though, they’ve got poker nights and a lot of mga events the member I played with said

Good group at WF

The MGA has a lot of tournaments. You can get a list when you tour.

There is a gamblers group that plays around mid day Fri, Sat, and Sunday when tournaments aren’t happening.

It’s as much of a social club as it is a golf club. Wednesday night men’s poker game.

Bar is good with great service. Food is average.

Willow Fork out of those two by a lot for me.

I use to play Falcon Point when they had bent grass greens and big fans to cool the greens.

I believe FP has O.B. and water on 17 of 18 holes. Still don't get that one par 5 ...
