Will be in Houston next weekend. Where to play and where should I go to check out some new clubs? Is golf galaxy any good?

Golf Galaxy is legit. The one in the Woodlands is the one used to go to when I lived over there (was called Golf Smith).

Golf Galaxy seems to be in all the old Golfsmith locations and are pretty nice. PGA Superstore up in the Woodlands is pretty nice as well. There are several GolfTec locations as well. Not sure if they do fittings and sell clubs or are more for lessons tho.

Go to Edwin Watts in the Galleria.
No other shop in Houston has EVERY iron available. I just bought the new Srixons from there. Golf Galaxy and PGA Superstore don't carry Srixon.
