Has anyone ever done a putter fitting?

Supposed to really help but I have yet to do one.
Correct putter loft for your stroke gets the ball in overspin immediately.
SAM puttlab technology is supposed to be legit, not sure who has one in LA.
Anyone ever have your stroke analyzed and had your putter fit to it, with correct loft, weighting, etc.?
article explaining the process

All I've ever done is check my lie angle and bend as necessary. Other than that, it's feel. I'm sure it's beneficial to know what could work best for you, but it won't mean anything if you can't read a green, get the speed right, or have bad mechanics.

I basically cut across the ball with my putter. Almost like I'm slicing it. Not sure how much a putter fitting would help me but I could certainly use some putting instruction.
I remember ping had the phone clip that you could put on your putter shaft to analyze your stroke with an app

Maybe Im old school but putting is such a feel thing to me that I try to keep analytics out of my setup when it comes to putting. Never done it and just always pick a putter by feel.

I bought one of these but never opened it up. I'll have to see if I can find it

I got fit for a putter a few years ago, and it has worked well for me. I was using a putter that was too long for me which was causing me to stand more upright which didn't have me reading the right line. I was lipping everything bigly. Since then, I make more puts dead center and putt firmer/with more confidence. If I miss, Im putting a bad stroke on it (which is often ) or just really miss reading it. It's a great feeling.

Prolly 15 - 20 years ago I was fitted for a Slazenger Kirk Currie mallet headed putter.
The process involved the normal measurements as well as affixing a laser pointer onto the putter face while addressing the ball on a measured grid
While I am of average stature, the measurements revealed long arms and short legs = a shorter than standard 32 inch putter shaft length.
That putter has never left my bag since.
