Anyone ever been to a intensive (several days to a week) school? If so, did it help and would you recommend it?

I went to golf camps as a kid and teen. It’s great for a beginner, but it is group lessons really. Plus you would be way older than the other kids.

IMG Academy. When I went it was DLGA but its still one of the top programs in the world.

They have 2 week summer camps for under 18, 1 week programs for other folks, and a boarding program if you are super serious.

Years ago I did a Pelz short game class for 3 days.

To be honest, it wasn't worth it for me, way too many needy students hogging the time.

I can't remember the name but a buddy went to one in Arizona for a week a few years ago and it did wonders for him.

A week of golf and an all inclusive stay at the resort sounds like a hell of a time. Definitely going to throw that one in the hat for my next vacation.
