Im heading up there right after Christmas. The cabin we rented has access to Bent Creek Golf Course.

Has anybody played it? Any other courses in the area (1 hour drive) I should go play?

How is bent grass different than our Southern Bermuda?

Bent Creek is nice. The back nine has some very unique style holes. Read the score card on advice on how to play the holes. The images of the hole are not exactly accurate but the description on how to play the hole is. I enjoyed it for the price we paid but the condition was just average. I think it’s worth playing atleast once during your stay.

I played Gatlinburg golf course today. Compared to South Louisiana public courses, I felt like I was at freaking Augusta National.

I played 36 at Bent Creek yesterday as we are staying up the mountain from it.
It’s ok, front is bland, back is cool, but 1 hole is closed bc they lost the stairs gng up to the tee. If they put a little work into to it, it would be nice. It does have some funky holes.

Played Gatlinburg GC today. Much better course. It was CPO which SUCKED!!!!!

Of the 2, I would play GGC. If you’re staying near Bent Creek, it’s worth playing.

Also, traffic in this area is fricking horrible and everything is a tourist trap. I’ll never be back.
