Galveston golf suggestions

Going to be spending a few days in Galveston next week with a couple of buddies. Where should we play?

Moody Gardens is a fun course.

Moody Gardens is the obvious choice. However, if you have time for two rounds, drive to Lake Jackson and play The Wilderness.

Moody is good, if you can get on Galveston CC is good also. If you don't mind leaving the island then The wilderness and Gus Wortham are very good options.

Enjoy, The Wilderness is one of my favorite courses in the Houston area.
Always seems to be in great shape. We are hurting big time for rain in the area, but I expect the Wilderness to be ok.

Played the wilderness yesterday. We had to tee off on the back nine first, it’s in fantastic shape. The front was i good/decent shape but signs of the drought were evident. But for $52 for a 1:00 tee time it can’t be beat.
The course will be punching the greens next Tuesday - Wednesday.
