I got a nasty blister on the side of my left ring finger today at the driving range and only hit about half of the balls I bought and had to cut it short

I want to buy a glove but am wondering if even a good glove will prevent me getting a blister there

Johnson & Johnson paper tape works wonders.

If you're getting blisters that bad you might want to look at working on your grip/grip pressure. Focus on holding the club like you're holding a baby bird.

If you are getting severe blisters, might want to get a professional to take a look at your grip.

If you're not wearing a glove at all it will definitely help, but your grip is the problem.

How the devil did you get a blister there? Are you hanging off the end of the grip?

Better glove is not the answer.

You are likely releasing and then regripping during your swing resulting in the blister.

Light steady grip pressure is what you should seek, resist the urge to clamp down at impact.
