Have there been any threads on golf cart diy on the board? I have been working with mine lately.

I have same cart. Best thing to do is keep an eye on water level in batteries.

I had a Yamaha and I always had a wire brush to brush off the cable connectors to the batteries. Corrosion can cause a bunch of problems.

Tire air pressure is a big deal too, saves a lot of drag.

Every so often I tried to condition the seats to prevent cracking and weathering.

what are you looking to do? I have torn my old ezgo just about down to the frame and built it back again after replacing the battery tray, suspension, back seat, etc. They are pretty simple to work on with tons of youtube videos out there for whatever you want to do.

Just bought a 2008 txt ezgo, in the process of repainting it. After I finish that, I'm going to install a lift. Anyone know where I can buy 6 of the rivets that connect the dash to the front panel? Amazon has the whole kit, but I just need 6.

Just regular rivets? Any hardware store. Buggies Unlimited should have anything you would ever need. Buy stainless if possible.

Ok. Just checked back on my thread. I am not sure if there has been one before but I will see what happens.
I messed with my golf cart all last weekend and when I could this week.
Wanted to see if I could get my old cart to work again. Had not been used in 8 years.
I decided to go all in and try to save the batteries.
It has been a success in that I have accomplishes what I wanted but have not really maxed out how long it will work for.

The best thing to help with the water level in batteries is to install a single-point battery watering system. Connects all batteries so you only fill at one point and it prevents over-filling.
