So my inlaws want to take us up there next summer. A quick google search gave me
top of the rock
Buffalo ridge
Has anyone stayed and played out there?
If anyone lives in the area, I'd like a playing partner. 1st beer is on me.

Played Buffalo Ridge back when it was Brandon Creek. Really enjoyed the course and I think it's improved since they redid it. Haven't played Top of the Rock but I heard it's fantastic.
Tiger's putting a course out there in a couple years after Daly helped design a miserable course called Murder Rock.

never been, but top of the rock apparently has one of the coolest driving ranges in the country. It's also only a 9 hole course I think

I was there two summers ago on family vacation. Didn't get to play, but we did the golf cart/cave tour and history museum. Had a meal on the outside deck overlooking the lake and golf courses. The whole facility is absolutely beautiful and 1st class. I want to go back bad. Reccomend fishing at Dogwood Canyon, and they also opened a sporting clays and shooting center. Amazing a place that nice could be so close to Branson... the redneck anus of America.

BR is one of the best courses i have ever played. Went last week. Some of the best views in that area. Note they are building several new courses nearby which construction is visible on back nine for a couple of holes.

Played BR and top of the rock last year. Made the mistake of playing on the same day cause of a special which made for a long hot day. The courses were awesome. BR was in great shape. Top of the rock is a 9 hole par 3 course that was about ~$120 by itself. Awesome views and ridiculously well manicured, but ridiculously priced too. I could just sit at the driving range all day it's such a nice facility with incredible views.
Last week was there and played Branson Hills. Nice course but BR is far better option.

Top of the Rock is beautiful but there is some sting to paying >$100 to play 9 Par 3s. It is worth it to make the trip and see the sights though. Hit on the range and putting green, Have lunch at Arnie's Barn etc.
