Felt harsh... similar to PX. Edwin Watts had a set and it reminded me of a PX with better numbers.

Coming from a KBS guy.

Some reviews said that they'd compare most to the DGTI S400.

Did you like them? How'd they feel?

They're not near that harsh.

I have the 125X. Love them. Much easier to flight down, especially coming from KBS

If I was going from the S400 to these, what's the first thing you'd think I notice/feel?

The NS will be more cushioned at impact. They will load nearly identical

I can see how they'd feel like a 400 but 400 are heavier arent they?

I am a KBS guy through and through (PX in wedges to keep them down a bit), but if I went with Modus, I might try to soft step them 1x rather than play a true stiff. Might help the harsher feel.

Yeah. The S400's are heavier.

I've got Nippon pro modius 105s on my i200's that I got last week. I've hit balls but haven't played a round with them yet. I really like the way they feel but will need to see how they perform on the course.

Coat,

These are what came in the irons I just got. I've only hit the 7 iron so far. Ball flight was fine. Actually felt like it had less spin than the DGTIS4H's I'd been using. Much lighter though. I don't know what to think of that.

Just from what I felt today with the 7 iron, I'm looking forward to playing a round with them. The lighter shaft may end up being a good thing. Especially towards the end of a round, in the heat.

Have you gotten them on the course yet?

Hey Pal, happy to pass along some thoughts:

To begin, If you are worried about a shaft becoming too heavy for you while playing in this grueling summer heat, then these are the shafts for you. The S400 weight is likely around 132 grams, and the Nippon Tour 105 regular flex is 103 grams. I list the regular flex weight due to your concern with the heat affecting your endurance during a round, and ability to maintain swing speed. If you foresee this being an issue late in a round, you need to downgrade to regular flex shafts or stop being a nancy boy after 14 holes in 94 degree heat.

I look forward to a follow up post after your upcoming round with these irons. Here is a hint, you may want to start aiming 4-7 yards to the left of your target if the temperature gets above 93 degrees on the back nine. This will combat the push you will be hitting thanks to your weak swing speed coupled with the stiffness of the shafts. This should produce a nice high, weak push that you can call a fade and impress all your buddies that are 24 handicap players.

Cheers buddy

p.s. make sure to get those birdies early before it gets too hot

Welp,

Got them out on the course today. Shot a 109 from the tips at Greystone.

I had 4 drives over 300 yds. All ended up OB though.

The irons are solid. They're exactly like what Random said. Load well, feel great at impact. Being as light as they are, I'll probably be able to start breaking 100 more regularly. That's gonna make golf fun again. Firing off 108's, 109's, and having to look yourself in the mirror the next when you shave feels horrible. Worst part is, my road rash and chaffing is forcing me to lay low. Probably won't get back on the course until this weekend.

Yes I've played probably 3 rounds with them. I like them a lot. They don't feel too light to me and I don't find myself spinning them too much. Good stability even when taking a big rip.

I've got three under my belt with them too.

Man, I love'em. Are you noticing your distances/numbers changing?
