Anyone been to PGA Show?

Demo day at Orange County was always fun. I always liked checking out the emerging technologies. Nearly everyone is there so whatever your golf fetish is, there will be people there supporting it. If you like custom putter covers, there will be 45 vendors with custom putter covers.

I usually go and will be there next week as an exhibitor. But I have taken strolls through parts of it and it definitely is enjoyable just to walk and see all the stuff people are promoting. It feels like endless amount of stuff, anything golf related you can think of.

You have to work in the golf industry to go. It’s not open to the general public according to the website. However, since most of the manufacturers are there and all of the startups, it does seem like a cool place to see some things that’ll be big in a few years. Having never been though don’t know what to expect.

If I ever got to go, I fear my face would glaze over with the look my wife gets when she goes to IKEA. I’m not sure I want to take that risk. It would just overload my senses.

Demo day is amazing. Seeing all that golf stuff on that range is truly a cool sight.
The show is a great time. Usually some good giveaways and the occasional pro golfer in the house. If you are even a casual golfer, it is special experience.
