Addias Ultra Boost -

These shoes are built on the running shoe platform.

My right foot is a mess from being broken several times in sports. I am always looking for comfort and these deliver and worth a look.

I have to say that I'm not a big fan of a sock type shoe, but these are easy to get on and off. The sole provides plenty of traction for hard swings.

When I can play 18 holes and my foot doesn't hurt, I know that these shoes do what they claim. The wrap around straps add even more stability.

Maxfli Tour S -

I played this ball for 2 rounds so far. Being honest, I don't get the hype. For being a " Soft" model, it is very firm IMO.

Distance is ok, but I was expecting a AVX type feel and performance. It's not a bad ball, but for me, it's nothing special.

Golf Galaxy offers them for 2dz/$70.00.. But I believe there are better options for a similar price point.

* Just my thoughts on these two products.

Thanks for the review. Adidas are the only brand I can wear without having foot pain after a round. I haven’t tried Ecco.

Have you tried the X? That’s what I play. I’m liking it a lot

Yes and I think the X is a better ball all around.

I had a pair of Ecco with BOA and it would not stay tight, so I returned them.

I have, didn’t like it. Went back to the ProV1x. Currently giving the Bridgestone B X a run. Like it so far.

I play the Tour S now, was playing the Tour. Tried the Tour S after reading the ball lab review from MySpy golf. Compared the S to a Bridgestone BXS, which I really liked, but the S is slightly softer (82 vs 84) with about 250 rpm less spin, finds that it fits my game nicely, with the added benefit of less $$.

Awesome that it's working for you. That's why I always say this info is from my point of view.

I played the AVX most of this year, I guess that I got use to a certain feel and result. It's expensive, but I will keep playing it while trying other balls.

Don't know where you are at, but I think that I have 4 sleeves our the Tour S left that your welcome to.

I have trouble with most golf shoes because of the toe box. I bought some Srixons that kinda look like their joggers and those are super comfortable.

Maxfli graded out well in Mygolfspy.com's recent ball test.

I've been on a months long journey of seeing if I can find a ball I like as much as the proV but slightly lower priced.

The Maxfli Tour S was the most surprising of every ball I've bought. Could not believe how much I liked it. Almost didn't even test it because I just figured there was no point. But it is possibly better off the tee for me than the proV and has a good feel around the green. It doesn't have the greenside spin of a proV and it gets beat up a little easier, but i could easily play one on a regular basis.

The Taylor Made tp5 is the closest I've found overall but it's only a couple bucks cheaper than the proV.

The Tour Response is my favorite TP balls, and it's a little cheaper than the TP5.

I know and that's what prompted me to try the Tour S model, it just didn't feel right for me.

I think the X model is a good ball.

I have played the X, Tour and Tour S. The X was too hard, the Tour and the Tour S, are definitely softer, but with my Moderate swing speed, the S works a little better than the Tour. I am a retired Club Professional, have played every golf ball imaginable, and believe the Maxfli line compares to any OEM ball out there.

Yea I have a friend that swears by them. I just didn't try them because I think my swing speed is to fast. I think it's better suited for a medium swing speed. I probably just need to give them a shot though. Do you know if they're as soft around the green as the tp5?

Wouldn't mind trying the Mizuno ball too.

I would say it is not, but it still feels like a premium ball and performs way better than a surlyn covered distance ball.

I wear the ZG23 Vent, it’s extremely comfortable and the mesh upper breathes well in the heat. Problem is the $200 price point
