I had completely forgotten about the Dick's Sporting Goods Callaway giveaway. I think Chappy was trying to say it in jest because I think he thought you needed to buy a driver and just hope your player won (with no refunds), but he reminded me of the contest and I entered on the last day and picked Jon Rahm. And yes, I made sure it was postmarked on the 16th!!!

I had entered the last couple of years, but I completely forgot about it this year until I saw your post the day before entries were due.

They made it sound like you had to purchase a driver (no refunds) and then you could pick one of Callaway's sponsored players. If that player won, they would send you a Dick's gift certificate for $585. In small print, it said "no purchase necessary." You actually had to go and read the rules to find out how to register by snail mail, which a few of us did.

I entered this and picked Rahm. Put it in the mail on June 14th. I have been frequently checking my email for something from Callaway. Just hoping they don't try to find a way to screw a bunch of the people who did the mail in entry for the free driver.

Actually, you get the choice of three different drivers. As best I can determine, you go onto the Dick's website and order one of the three according to your specifications. They are going to take about three weeks to send out the emails, and the emails will contain the rules on how you get your driver. That may take a little while longer. So, I wouldn’t count on having a driver before August.
I too, however, am worried that they are going to look for any little error in your entry so that they can deny that you are a winner. I posted in another string that it would be great if we all will agree to post any emails we get on this board so that we all know what’s going on in the event that Callaway doesn’t Email us or it goes into our Spam or Junk folder.

But, THIS SITE has several winners and people are giving updates.
Some have written and called Callaway. According to their responses, it seems like they will reply within 14 business days (either this Thursday or Friday). Also, some guy spoke with a representative and she told him that they had "1,000+" mail-in entries that they'll have to go through. I figured it would be a lot more but I guess requiring people to actually send in an entry via snail mail dissuaded many people who otherwise would have entered in an online entry.

According to this reddit thread, people are calling in and confirming their entries have been received. Looks like they're being told emails should go out on 7/12.

According to the official rules, the deadline for claiming your prize is 7/15. They are really cutting it close.
