Anyone try this yet? Just got it and tried out some halo. The paddles on the bottom are taking some getting used to but I feel like it will be really awesome once I get used to not using the regular buttons during battles. Anyone have any thoughts on it?

I'll probably get one tomorrow for the living room HTPC.

Did you buy just the controller or XBONE Elite.

I just got the controller. I've been trying to mess around with the button mapping and the different sticks. I'm really enjoying it so far. Never have to take your fingers off of the sticks to press a button which helps for fps games.

Gotcha, yeah I'm very interested in the paddles. Plus I hope I can remap on PC games. Almost all games on PC allow you to remap the controls, but some locked in unless using mods.

I really want to try one, but I am afraid I would want to buy it. $150 is a lot for a controller, especially considering I only really play Halo on the Xbone.

I picked one up along with the PC wireless adapter. It feels awkward as frick right now. I also ordered a Steam controller that'll be in soon. Going to figure out which one is easiest to use on my HTPC.

Love the controller but I took the paddles off. Way too awkward.

I took the bottom two off and just use the upper paddles. I feel like I can't grip it correctly with the bottom two paddles.

exactly what I did with mine. The bottom sticks are really not very good, I'm going to search ebay to see if I can find another pair of the shorties to put on the bottom set. If you move the shorties down to the bottom they feel pretty nice and give you good grip still.

I like the round D-pad so far and I am using the regular sticks. The taller ones are just a little too tall for my tastes. The trigger locks are the nicest feature to the whole controller.

Got mine Wednesday (Thanks gaming board)

Been playing the hell out of Destiny trying to find a position 2 set-up that makes it easier for me to play with the sword.

The mid height domed sticks are perfect for me.
The bottom paddles are useless IMO.
The upper paddles are great you just have to remember not to squeeze the controller to tight when shite goes down are else you'll find yourself reloading after every shot.

I've been able to pull off some moves I wasn't able to before having jump and thrusters added to the paddles. That's one thing I'm enjoying. Only thing I'm getting used to is sometimes I switch weapons on accident

I have it and love it. Being able to thrust, jump, and reload while still aiming has won me a ton of gunfights already
