I swore up and down I would not play this game again. I was done. Was sick and tired of Blizzards incessant bullshite. Always creating solutions looking for problems. Always find new and unique ways to "create" content to keep us busy with the absolute least amount of work on their part.....

Someone sent me the link to the Broken Shore video for the Horde..... Sylvanas has ALWAYS been my favorite character in WoW.... frick me in the goat arse. Really Blizz? Like maybe the one thing that would entice me back.... Then the same a-hole piece of shite sent me a demon hunter video with Illidan in it...... Second favorite character in WoW.... The way they are portraying him... Literally how I ALWAYS saw him.... Like, I hated having to kill him in BC.... Apparently there were 2 thihngs that could possibly entice me back.... Then I figured, frick it, I'll re-up for a month and buy the expac to see the new shite and play the new class a little and then deactivate. It's not all that much money considering how much I drop on Warframe regularly on Prime Access shite. So I did just that...

2 AM last night and I just got done with the Demon Hunter questline, found myself buying my way to warspear to.... level prof's? Why are you leveling profs, you arent going to be playing this game... Dude, why are you at the auction house buying xmog crap? You're not going to be playing this game.... WHY ARE YOU STAYING UP UNTIL 2 IN THE frickING MORNING WHEN YOU"RE NOT GOING TO BE PLAYING THIS GAME?!?!?!??!!

So apparently I'm playing this game again.

Demon Hunter is amazing. The double jump and glide by itself is OP. I love that they arent muddying it up with that whole dual resource bullshite they have been loving since DK's. I like playing the game, not the timers and resource bars. And is it just me, or did they build Demon Hunters to make you feel like a complete boss without actually making it OP overall? Everything I have read says that they are pretty on par with the other classes (I dont know, I havent played the other classes since shortly after Highmaul)

Anyway, I'm loving the new class. What are yalls opinions on it?

I havent played the broken shore yet. I figure I'll get around to running through that on one of my umpteen 100's before actual release.

Hell man, just wait until you run around doing some invasion with a frickton of your mates while you engage in real and genuine world pvp..And you have not even gotten your artifact yet!
Glad to have you aboard. I loved the cinematic that have setup the story for the coming expac.

::::::::::::::::::Spoiler ALERT turn away if you havent played the questlines yet:::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::

IM horde buy seeing king wrynn go out like a boss killing that infernal and then getting exploded was pretty damn awesome:::::::::::::::

Invasions are loads of fun!

Love doing the Westfall one on my DK and seeing how long I can survive the massive deathball of Alliance while also tanking the Stage 4 invasion boss.

Demon Hunters are basically an incomplete class right now, and it urks me.

Havoc DH is basically a 3-4 button spec with one, ONE, 5 minute DPS cooldown. The only thing I enjoy about it right now is Eye Beam aoe.

You get a lot more as you go from 100-110, but I'm trying to give DHs a real go to see if I want to level him first or stick with my Hunter. This patch isn't really helping me. The DH start zone was fantastic I thought, and the aesthetics of the class feel really good.

I'm certainly not giving up, Im still gearing him and testing the playstyle, but dungeons and raids are pretty boring on the DH right now, at least to me.

I am enjoying the invasions though. I really like getting out into the world with people again, it hasn't been that way in a long time. The boats are actually full right now..

yeah, they do feel a bit empty at the moment but I expect that to fill out nicely

I heard hunters got the big nerf dick in the arse this time. I looked at the classes to see what I wanted to play besides DH and hunter was first on my list but I quickly marked them off after seeing that 2 of the specs were allegedly the most complicated specs to play currently and the other one was dead in the water. Complicated was fine a few years ago when I was raiding hardcore and min/maxing for everything but now I'm more laid back and enjoy playing the game rather than staring down procs, cooldowns, and buffs/debuffs. I played a disc priest in WoD and had as much or more fun than I'd had since Blood DK dps raiding in Lich King. I figure I will probably stick with that as my alt. Having a heal spec will help getting instance/raid groups.

I dont enjoy tanking anymore since they reworked the way its played. I liked the challenge of keeping all the mobs on me while people tried to pull them off. Theres very little about managing cooldowns to stay alive that entices me like you have to do now, which goes back to enjoying playing the game, not the cooldown timers. So I dont see myself tanking on the DH much.

SPOILERS

I have no idea how this can possibly end well for the Horde with Genn Graymane as the leader of the alliance and out for blood at Sylvanas' apparent betrayal especially now that Voljin is dead and she is the Warchief.

Greymane isn't the leader of the Alliance, Anduin is. Greymane is just the leader of the Alliance army in the Broken Isles.

1. Sylvanas and the Forsaken would kick their arse, so it would more than likely end poorly for the Alliance.

2. See the comment above. Anduin is the King of Stormwind and new leader of the Alliance. He's actually pretty level headed and likely won't lead the Alliance down THAT particular stupid path.

I've played a max level Demon Hunter on the beta and it does fill out fairly well. That being said they don't have the worlds most interesting rotation unless you go with the "Momentum" talent in the 106 talent tier.

Momentum gives you a 20% damage buff for 4 seconds every time you use Fel Rush (your dash attack) and Vengeful Retreat (your disengage). To do the most damage you have to keep that buff up as much as possible so your dashing around the battlefield and weaving your movement abilities into your rotation. It's a lot of fun but it can be really difficult to master the play style.

They didn't get "nerfed" per say, they got a huge rework that was pretty much pointless. I get the changing SV from ranged to melee, but the other two spec changes had me scratching my head.

I can bare the changes, but I'm not happy with them. I'ved mained hunter for 12 years, I like them. It's what I enjoy playing. So I'm planning on sticking with it.

I totally agree and you're probably right. I was just hoping to get a more complete feel of their playstyle before Legion launch.

I do enjoy managing the Fury regeneration bonus after VR and FR back into the fight. That does feel "right" now that you mentioned it.

I like to level a character to max, and prepare myself for raids focusing on that one character exclusively then branching out to my alts. I may have to change my strategy and level them both to 110 to really see I guess. Not sure though.

After what Sylvanas did to him and Gilneas plus the events at the Broken Isles, he may not be able to get Graymane under control.

I main a Resto Sham and like that the tweaked it a bit but overall left it alone. I am hoping the vaunted healing leveling rework they did with all healing specs to make them viable ..actually is fun and doable, id like to dump all my artifact experience into the Healing Artifact.
I read it is a lot like old school Elemental where you just flameshock , lavabolt, and spam spam spam lightening bolt.

THe spell effects look good too

Really just looking forward to new content as well.. Who do yall think is the End expansion boss? And are they just white washing Illadin I guess?

Nope, he's the last boss in the second raid tier (The Nighthold). I think it'll either be Kil'Jaeden again or hopefully Sargeras himself. Been dying to kill him for a long time.

EDIT- second raid tier, not first.

I think the Nighthold is considered the first tier still because emerald dream is like HM was in Wod.

I think Sargeras will be a last hoorah for WoW. He's just too big of a baddie for the now. Once he dies, nothing would be able to eclipse that unless they just start making new shite up.
