World of Warcraft Expansion Unveiling - Gamescon 2015 on 8-6-15

I know some of you still play the ole MMO.
Thought it was interesting that they would only get three raids out of this expansion (Even though they have been lengthy).
It seems like this expansion has gone by quickly.
Any ideas of what it could be content wise? I have't looked into any of the speculations.
ETA date in title.

WoW gets bashed on here all the time, but the fact is they still have millions of subscribers.

They had a surge of subs for WoD, but seems like they dipped down again. They might be trying to ride the sinking ship?
I still enjoy it, I don't play near as much as I used to though.
I do think that this expansion needs to be cheaper, depending on what they release.

I always get the expansions, level to cap, and quickly burn out and quit... until the next expansion.
This is probably the first year I really don't have any interest in getting it. But that's easy to say since they haven't announced anything. I should probably avoid threads like this from now on.

I feel pretty similiar to you. I jump on to check garrion/fleet missions and to raid, maybe do my dailies in TJ. That's about it.
I enjoyed WoD leveling. Hoping it's just as good/better.

I am about the same the only thing I do differently is find out the quickest and easiest way to farm gold in the beginning and then buy the best gear from the AH and go do old raids on my DK. since I have no time for a real raid where half the people are retards.

eh I still play and enjoy it. looking forward to the next expansion.
of course, my game time has been paid by gold since the tokens came out, so I don't pay out of pocket anymore.

The Demon Hunter class looks cool, and I'm happy Dalaran is making a comeback. I'll subscribe to get to lvl 110 but I have no real aspirations to do much else.

I am intrigued by Legions. Like the avenue for pvp balance that doesn't effect PVE.
Like the idea of a Burning Legion expansion

Yeah, I'm excited about this expansion as well. Very intrigued by the DH hero class. I'm just hoping that they aren't too OP at the start to cause them to be nerfed to oblivion.
I have a feeling that this may be Blizzard's last chance to get some subs back for a while. Coming from a person that has played the game pretty much non-stop since release, they are just trying to plug a whole in a sinking ship by hyping it up. I hope they deliver.

I can't wait. I think I'll have to restart my subscription soon so I can at least be caught up on the end of WoD. I haven't played since before the last patch.
But really...demon hunter? They just had to steal some more ideas from their Diablo III division huh?
Not like I really have a problem with that, since my DH in Diablo kicks butt.

Come on now, Jet...I expect better from you. Demon Hunter has been around since before Diablo 3. Illidan was a Demon Hunter in Warcraft 3 and people have wanted that to be a new class for a while.

Warcraft 2 and 3 were such great games.
Plus wc3 laid the foundation for the MOBA genre that dominates esports today. Certainly an all time classic.
The demon hunter will surely get people to reup their subs. Like you said , people have wanted that class since Vanilla.

So...Diablo III took the idea from Warcraft and now WoW is taking it back? I actually never played Warcraft, and I'm probably missing something from the Diablo lore too.

Yeah, the DH from Diablo is also ranged, correct? The hero class in wow will be melee DPS and tank.
