ok, i know a big reason is Bethesda, but seriously, as old as the game is, all of the stuff should be fixed.

I cannot finish any quests with Daisy, continues to ask me if i want to buy crap, no commentary about medicine for kid or the overdue book.

The continuous quests, like finding the kidnapped person, it's broke, every time i go look, the arrow is there, but no person. 3 times it's happened out of 3.(i go there immediately when asked)

Talking to people is super broken. I try to converse, and they walk away, only to finally talk, or just make a comment and walk on, let i have a quest i just finished and need to talk to them.

Game is 10X more broken than Skyrim was. Bethesda loves to leave broken games, broken, letting modders fix it. Which is bullshite.

Also, no matter how many times i clean the sanctuary out(weeding, cleaning up garbage, etc), i come back and the shite reappears.

Are the other fallouts as broken? If not would you recommend fallout3?

Fallout 3 GOTY on ps3 runs well (minor quirks and you still want to save often but I mean, Bethesda)... It also is imo a much more enjoyable game with more character to it than 4. You might miss some of the features from 4 but the game itself is better.

New Vegas Ultimate Edition (or whatever it's called) ran like shite for me though. Playing the DLC's bloated my save file to the point of constant lagging, freezing and crashing. It's also very buggy.

I never experience all these bugs people complain about in Bethesda games. That said, Fallout 4 is a cash grab.

Fallout 3 and New Vegas are much better games. Fallout 3 has a better main story, but it can be pretty linear. Fallout New Vegas is much more open ended. You can finish the main story a bunch of different ways, but the main story itself feels like a string of side missions more than anything else.

Are you modding at all? Because you have to be incredibly careful with mods.

The load order of mods is pivotal to how well the game runs or if it'll crash.

A lot of times, you have to complete other things first before they'll talk to you about the quest, but the game won't tell you to do so. Also, sometimes since they're a vendor, you have to choose the talk option. (Y on Xbox, triangle on PS)

I've never had this happen to me.

I like the game, i don't mind stepping and fetching quests(it's all skyrim and eso are).

But man is this broken. Just a few ago, picked up another piece of technology for the one chick, and i cannot get her to respond, then finally i literally have to jump her bones for her to respond.

So pickup fallout3 GOY? Same bethesda style of step and fetch quests?

I definitely recommend fallout 3 as long as you don't mind older graphics.

Combining all three would be the one of the best games ever.

Fallout 3 had the best location with D.C.
Fallout New Vegas had the best story and faction alignments
Fallout 4 had the best feature with settlement building.

I have to close to 300 hours in the game and have never experienced any of these problems.

Do you do settlements? I'm at 110 hours and right now I'm trying to finish up Far Harbor. Not sure what else I want to do or can do in the main area. I'm avoiding the settlements like the plague. I did finally wander around Diamond City and picked up a slew of quests there, and I'm sure there's a lot out there I'm missing, but I wouldn't know where to begin.

I did everything, every mission, every ending, searched every random building. When I made my save point to go back to for each ending I probably could have made it a little later.

I just need to sojourn the map like I used to do with 3 and NV.

Good times.

Another thing that added to my playtime was that I went through some places multiple times. I would usually run through a building the first time I found it but then later on in the game I would get some mission there so I had to go back.

I also tried to get max affinity with each partner which led to me just doing some of the never ending Minutemen or BoS quests just to do stuff with them.

I was fortunate not to experience many issues with any Fallout Title. Fallout 4 had the fewest of the games I played. Same goes for Skyrim. I never had any major issues.

I enjoyed them all immensely.

My only real issue was the flawed Settlement Protection.

I could have 300 turrets blazing and if I didn't show up for the attack the place would be in ruins. Also didn't help that the message would pop up and disappear in a flash.

Also synth attacks were heavily flawed. if the synths were killed too fast, you can't get the completed message thus when you leave the settlement eventually if logs it as a failed defense.

Other than that, I didn't have bugs and LOVED settlement building with some mods.

Do you have any mods on? If you have conflicting mods on then it could screw up your gameplay.

By far shi--iest game I've ever bought. Played it for maybe an hour and haven't touched it since. Can't even sell the POS for a decent price.

No mods for the worst stuff, but this new run is with mods.

Not sure if unofficial patch is the savior, but a lot of stuff fixed.

Do you not play games then?

This game got 9s from the major gaming sites.

It definitely has problems, like all bethesda games, but when you take into account how massive and in-depth the games are, the problems are very small.

You probably can't sell it for a decent price because it came out in 2015 and everyone selling it has the price set at around $15, if not less.
