When you have an option in a game are you good or evil

I find that when a game gives me a choice between the "good" path or the "bad" path I always end up going the good route. I have tried to do a renegade ME2 play but just couldn't do it. I think a lot of game designers write the games along these lines also, I see to remember one game where you got a lot more game play or options choosing the good route.

I usually choose good. I recently played through Star Wars KOTOR on my iPad and went dark side and several instances I felt extreme guilt for being an a-hole.
If you are a fan of KOTOR, I highly recommend the iPad version. Seamless transition to the iPad, besides one mini-game's controls.

Good. The games tend to lead you in that direction. I feel like the whole bad guy protagonist idea in RPG's are very unexplored design space.

I usually play good the first time and the second time play the bad path. Most times I've found the bad path to be just an alternative to the good path with the game wanting your character to be good.

I typically will play through both ways.
For every Telltale game I'll go back and play it 2-3 times and make different choices so I see every side of the story.
In the Witcher I was a pretty good guy my first playthrough. On my second one that I started somewhat recently I decided to start being a huge dick and charging people money for everything or just not helping at all.

Always good... At least on the first playthrough.

Good first playthrough
Evil 2nd
Or just sarcastic in fallout 4 since you can't be evil

The infamous series is very fun to go evil in. You get better upgrades and weapons and can just go around merking fools instead of protecting them. Plus your lightning powers turn red

Normally I play good the first time through then other playthroughs I make different or evil choices.

I lean towards "evil" if I have the option. Depends on the games definition of evil though, KoToR 1 & 2 I was 100% sith. Mass Effect I'm more of an a-hole than outright evil.

I chose to be a Jew in the Stick of Truth

Infamous is one of the few series that makes playing evil fun

First playthrough, good. Second playthrough, evil.

I feel like ME doesn't really fit this question. You can't really be evil. You can be a dick, but evil? I don't think so.

I hate how choices pigeonhole you into either "good" or "evil" black and white bullshite. It's particularly bothersome in Star Wars. I'm a sith. Doesn't mean I'm a psychopath. I hate how they won't let you play that way.
Just because I'm a sith doesn't mean I kill people for enjoyment.

Good is a point of view, I choose the side that I like more

It depends on the game. Fable I always went evil because I loved how your appearance changed when you were evil but pure (murder innocents but at the same time charge low rent for your properties). I never passed up a chanced to deck that fricking reporter in Mass Effect, but overall I always went good. I think most of the time I'm good, but there's always a few dickish moves sprinkled in if I find a character/quest/race annoying.
