What to buy: Xbone with MC Collection or WiiU?

I would play the remake of Halo 2 a lot if I purchased it, but the existing/future library of the WiiU looks fantastic.

I would probably get as much play time from Halo 2 remake than I would the whole library of WiiU games.

I can also play games with my wife, like MK8. She doesn't like when I play VGs, but is OK if we play together.

Sounds like the Wii U is what you need

I only play handhelds while with my wife. She watches crap tv while I play vita/3ds/ wii u. She goes to bed early though and that's when I get PC/console time.

halo mcc will be tons of fun and halo 5 beta is included and it could be great and voice commands and tv integration are awesome

your heart says XBone w/ MC Collection

Whichever game catalog sounds better to you

Also Xbone = playing by yourself
Wii U = playing by yourself and with the wife. If she's anything like my gf she'll love the wii u more than she thought she would

The Wii U is the better overall choice. They have a sick game lineup coming out too. In fact, Ruto was just announced for Hyrule Warriors today. That will be another great co-OP multiplayer game with the wife if you like some mindless hack and slash with some tasty visuals

Wait so you have a PS4?

Unless you like Halo THAT much, WiiU is the clear choice. It's the only option that can provide a wider selection of games. And there has to be something upcoming that would satiate the Halo craving.
