What is the best D to run with LSU? I run a 4-2-5 and I haven't done as well with it as I thought I would. What do you guys think?

I run a 4-3 on run plays, and a 4-2 on pass plays with 1 back. I usually blitz out of 4-2 or dime, and so far it's been working.

Like Bug, I use 4-3 and then blitz and mix coverages from the Dime.

Word of caution ... when doing this, make sure you have your D Line hyped up and red first or else you may get trashed.

In the past (like 09 and 10 versions), if you switched from a 4-3 to another defense for the whole season, your team suffered because the players were not recruited with that defense in mind. Not sure if that is true this year.

I just used the 4-2-5 formation for just about every situation last year, and that just did not work at all for me yesterday.

Thanks guys
