Valve set out to make a game which felt like a Stephen King novel. The story was hugely inspired by one book in particular, The Myst.
I want the story to be complete, believe me. I'm a huge HL/Portal fan and want to see these universes explored more. Saying that, if you want to stay true to their goal then the series ended perfectly.
Edt: Closure would be great and I do want to see the Combine pushed back through the portal or completely wiped out. I want to know more about GMan and all the unknowns, but that is what makes HL so great for me. It is like reading a comic and filling in the blanks between frames.

Red Dead Redemption is actually the second Red Dead game. I'm looking forward to the next game as well.

Never played Red Dead Revolver, but I thought it had no mention of John Marston?
I'm not sure how I'd feel about a Red Dead Redemption sequel if it wasn't about Jack, or didn't include him in the storyline someway.

I personally want to see Battlefield: Bad Company 3 announced in 2016. Loved BC1 and BC2 and have been waiting for BC3 despite the developers admittance that they don't know where they want to take the story for BC3

And the episodes. Whatever HL3 will be, I just want closure on that story. I would be totally fine if it was on the old Source engine.

I think the Red Dead series is gonna be like GTA where the stories aren't connected but they keep the old west setting. That's what I hope anyway.

I would love to see a Tomb Raider/Uncharted Style game where you start off going through the Jedi trials and then move in to a larger story arc.
