I played BF3 this weekend on PS3...then I tried BF4 on PS4. It's just a shame how bad the online behaves in BF4. So much lagging and rubberbanding still. So much jittering. BF3 works so well that even if BF4 is "fixed" to where the stutter is minor, it's still noticeable coming off BF3.
BF3 is tGOAT.

I would play 3. I get a MP BF itch every once in a while, and 3 is the only one that seems appealing.

It's just so good. All of the maps except Tehran Highway on Conquest and all the Armored Kill maps on console are excellent. Which one of the BF4 maps are excellent? Maybe Locker and Pearl Market.
There aren't many active hardcore BF3 servers on PS3, though. But regular core is still decent enough.

I've said this many times before that the guys I usually game with bailed on me with this game, so I ended up playing TDM primarily, and I know that's now how you play this game.

I think I only played TDM to unlock some stuff with the DLC. Conquest is king.

I still maintain you could build a nice BF3 rig for around $500.

New, but also not official. It's only been released on PS3 in Japan.
I also beat the Advanced Warfare campaign last night. Hopped in one multiplayer match afterwards and went 25/4 with a 15 kill streak. Not touching that again, so I'll probably end my AW time there.

Here's what I can't get over though...I can't get over playing on a keyboard. It just doesn't make sense to me.

You don't have to. You can use a 360, PS3, PS4, etc. controller.
