We have a good amount of friends that are anti, but they aren't in our faces about it. I think most, if not all, of those kids are home schooled, so that makes sense I suppose. One of my friends told me his first daughter had a horrible reaction to her first shots and they decided against it with the rest of their kids. They're grown and are fine, so whatever.

Yeah, if you really hate touch controls, then you won't like the game. I don't feel like they're thrown in there. It feels pretty natural using them. We'll see though. I'm not super far.

Love the idea, wish I could.

My daughter is doing well according to the pediatrician. She is just a little low on the weight side so we have to feed her more which is not really an issue.

Well boys, my trusty 2008 Samsung 46" LCD TV that i game on finally crapped out last night. Was mid-match of MVProof raping kids on MyPark NBA2K15.

Apparently that set of series of Samsungs back in 08-09 had power capacitor problems. They already paid to repair mine back in 2011, but the repairman told me back then it wouldn't last because the replacement parts were cheapo. I got 7 years out of it, so i guess I can accept it going up to Electronics Heaven.

Which begrudgingly is bad timing technology wise for ol Klarky, because I don't really want to go out and spend $2k+ on an early 4k TV. That's how i got in this position I am in now. I just want something decent to hold me over until i buy a house in the next 2 years. I'll buy something OT ballerish then.

This is what I'm looking at for the time being. MicroCenter has them for $750. Samsung 55" LED Smart TV

I've read some reviews today and almost every review repeats the same opinions. It's a steal for the price as far as the picture and sound quality go, saying in those aspects it ranks up there with more expensive LED TV's with ease. But the Smart TV and Web built in features are laggy and disappointing, due to the mediocre CPU chip set. Which honestly, I don't much care about because I use my ROKU 2 or 3 (can't remember) for Netflix, HBOGO, Hulu, Youtube, and Plex already. Plus the Xbox One has all those apps as well.

Thoughts?

This has been my experience with most smart tv's but i never needed the tv to have those features anyway.

Now is the last chance to get plasma if you are interested in it. I still think it's the best technology on the market without breaking the bank.

Headed to MicroCenter and Best Buy in Houston in a few minutes here, I'll see what they have available as far as plasma.

But if I went with the one I linked, it would be a poor decision?

Here's the review / write up I referred to: LINK
