You can buy fast travel items, but you still have to literally walk out to the locations you want to set them up in, and the one-use items are pretty rare and expensive IIRC.

And say you were to go the NG+ route, you keep the fast travel item from the first playthrough and can purchase another in the second. It gets easier the more you play it, but my god I put the fast travel up where you fight the griffon cause fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu going up there more than once.

It depends but it can be both. I think some of it is just having less time to play these days and some of it is me losing patience as I get older. I used to love movies too and now I rarely watch them.

I can definitely be not in the mood for talky games, but they tend to be my favorites. I enjoy the story and amount of development that is provides.

Been fishing all weekend. Got back today and played CS:GO, been enjoying it. I will play some more before/after GOT.

I played the crap out of the demo. Still waiting for a price drop before buying it. You are right, as it's completely up my alley. JRPG is my favorite genre.

I played the demo too, which was one of the best demos ever. I am only like 6 hours into the full version, bite the bullet and get it because you know nintendo games don't drop that much if at all. It's $34 on amazon. Just buy the game so we can summon each other and send demons into each others towns. DO IT!

I'll probably dive in after my next paycheck. Hear some bad things about story direction, but good things about everything else.
