Mario Kart's popularity has only grown, especially with the success of Mario Kart Wii and the online racing.

I was speaking more from the position of someone my age who grew up playing it on the n64. Probably from a place of ignorance. I don't keep tabs on the ups and downs of Mario Kart. From everything I've read, the Wii U was a disappointment, so naturally I'd assume the majority of those mario games I grew up with had regressed.

I wasn't very impressed with the Mario Kart on the Wii, haven't kept up with the new one much.
I'm having some issues connecting to ubisofts servers in Watch Dogs. Hopefully this doesn't persist.

here come the complaints about uplay. I learned in MMOs long ago to expect rough launch days for games that have online play, this way I am never disappointed.

I had been a little concerned about graphics but the game is nothing short of beautiful. Anyone that says this looks on par with modded GTA IV or looks worse than GTA V is a fricking moron.

I'm having a blast. The game is poorly optimized, but it looks great and is a lot of fun. I kind of look at it like how the first Assassin's Creed went: great concept that will be refined by the second game.
