No. Through the hololens, you can project your Minecraft world anywhere...on the floor, on the kitchen table, on your girlfriend's arse...

You can only see it through the hololens. That is not viewable by someone else in the room.

It was pretty damn sweet though. I havent had that feeling of "holy shite, that is going to be a thing soon" in quite some time.

When I first saw the Wii and the motion stuff from last gen Xbox et al I was could sum up my thought process with, "Well that has some potential and could be cool". HOwever outright projecting game worlds almost anywhere via holographic tech has some pretty sick augmented reality potential.

Maybe Microsoft was not stupid to pay that much for Mojang

If it can deliver as shown in that demo, it will be amazing. Early reports of old demos said it wasn't that great, but those were early hardware builds and it has hopefully improved.
